The Rapture Doctrine
Rapture doctrine did not exist before John Darby invented it in 1830AD. Before then no one had ever heard of a secret rapture and all attempts to find evidence of this wild doctrine before 1830 have failed.
The word “Tribulation” literally means “Persecution”
The anti-messiah will oppose the anointing that is upon the followers of Messiah, so if Rapture doctrine is true and all the Messiah followers are gone, who will he oppose and persecute?
And who will he “wear out?”
Daniel 7:25 ~ “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and SHALL WEAR OUT THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
Who will he overcome and kill?
Revelation 11:7 ~ “And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit SHALL MAKE WAR WITH THEM, AND SHALL OVERCOME THEM AND KILL THEM.”
These ridiculous notions have been taught for centuries by the Christian Church.
