Why Did Nehemiah Close the Gates at Night for Sabbath?

God Culture

Somehow, many have heard from illiterate scholars that this passage somehow sets the Sabbath at sunset because that is when Nehemiah closed the gates.

However, those have clearly never run a successful event, don’t understand how markets work, and have no clue how the Sabbath operates and even in terms of the Jerusalem gates.

We will cover Nehemiah 13 which never says Sabbath begins at sundown but actually firmly established the Sabbath and Bible day begin at sunrise. In the end, Ezekiel as well defines this in terms of the gates which would customarily, prior to Nehemiah, have been opened at sunrise for the Sabbath as that is when Sabbath begins.

Watch how our research resolves another doctrine of stupid men who are incapable of reading, thinking nor research.

Then, prove all things for yourself. Yah Bless.
