Who Is The Man Of Sin?

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Elohim in the temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.” ~2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Who is the man of sin—who sits on the throne of Elohim thinking he is Elohim on earth?—who puts himself in charge of the congregation of Yahuah’s Assembly?
“For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation. On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.” ~Isaiah 14:13-14
To appreciate the degree of blaspheme in the above image, you must understand that the Ark of the Covenant, where Yahuah’s Mercy Seat is, has two golden cherubim, one on either side of the seat. This is the throne seat of Yahuah, not of a man who claims to be Elohim.
So who is the man of sin? Who is this self-proclaimed “king” better known as the son of perdition? Who is he that thinks he is Elohim on earth? Let’s look to the word of Yahuah for the answer. Let’s read the next two verses in Isaiah . . .
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying: Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms.” ~Isaiah 14:15-16
Satan isn’t the man of sin, he is, however, the one who is empowering him. There are many people in powerful positions being empowered by Satan. Simply put, he is controlling all who refuse the truth of the word of Yahuah. We are all born into a fallen world, a world where the devil is currently in control. So, if we never surrender to the true Elohim of the Scriptures, we will, unfortunately, get Satan as our master.
“… and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” ~Revelation 13:2
Understanding this truth is very important to realize that most of the people with power on this earth are working for the devil. This fact explains why it appears that evil is currently taking over the entire world. The majority of people on earth are choosing the devil over Yahuah, or are indifferent and sitting on the fence of indecision. Sadly, there is no middle-ground when it comes to this eternally important decision. You are either all in or you are out—you are with Yahuah or against Him. If you don’t choose Yahuah with all your heart, you will get Satan by default. it’s just that simple.
“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” ~Matthew 12:30
Yahusha is returning soon to harvest His faithful people. Make swift use of your time, don’t linger too long in the valley of decision because the earth’s days are drawing to an end. This isn’t my opinion, it’s a Scriptural fact!
“Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow—for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahuah is near in the valley of decision.” ~Joel 3:13-14
We are seeing an increase in frequency as well as the intensity of natural disasters all over the world. The recent earthquakes in Mexico and Guatemala, the hurricane devastation of the Caribbean islands, as well as the extreme flooding in Texas, raging fires in Oregon, and now one of the worst hurricanes in history hitting Florida might make us begin to ponder this question. Why does Yahuah allow these things to happen when He could very well prevent them?
Here’s a bit of eye-opening truth…Yahuah is not to blame for these things! Sin is what has caused all of this planetary devolution to occur. We are living in a fallen world, a corrupted, deteriorating planet, along with everything on it. Yahuah is starting to remove His restraining hand from this world. So Satan is now unleashing his fury because he’s fully aware that his time is short. In the Scriptures Yahuah tells us of the coming of these end times events.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” ~1 Peter 5:8
“And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” ~Luke 21:11
“So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of Yahuah is near.” ~ Luke 21:31
The ultimate effect of sin is degradation. The falling apart of everything, from the breaking down of our physical bodies, (sickness, disease, pain, and suffering) to the degeneration of all existence, even the planet itself. The degeneration of everything . . . all living creatures, animals and even plants. As well as the worsening of the weather and increase of planetary devastation are all the byproduct and the effect of a broken and fallen world.
Can Yahuah stop it? Yes. Will He stop it? Yes, but not until every person has made their decision either for or against Yahusha. Not until everyone has heard of the gift of salvation through the sacrifice of Yahusha, and have made their choice, will this mess finally come to an end.
“And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.” ~Mark 13:10
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” ~Matthew 24:14
Who is the anti Messiah (antichrist)?
If we take the meanings of these two words and look at them literally, there are many anti messiahs (antichrists) in the world. Anti meaning against— put together with Messiah (Christ) equates antichrist. Anyone who denies Yahusha as the Son of Yahuah is anti messiah (antichrist).
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Yahusha is the Messiah? He is anti messiah (antichrist), that denieth the Father and the Son.” ~1 John 2:22
However, the term anti messiah (antichrist) is also referring to a world power that is more than against Messiah, he has put himself in place of Messiah on earth.
There is only one man that fits this description, and that is the Papacy of Rome. The position of the Roman Catholic Church is that the pope is, in fact, Christ on earth. He is referred to, by the church of Rome, as the Vicar of the Son of God/Christ on earth!
He is both the head of the church of Rome and the king of Vatican City State, as well as the soon-to-be head of the one world power. He is the culmination of church and state, and the Scripture is clear on his identity . . . or the number of his name . . . it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred three score and six.
“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” ~Revelation 13:17-18
The pope wears a pontifical crown and on it is the title: Vicarius Filii Dei, which means Vicar of the Son of God, which means Christ on earth! This title is a self-ordained position proclaimed by the Church of Rome. And the numerical value of the Roman numbers for this man, this Vicarius Filii Dei is 666.
Ten Characteristics of the Anti Messiah (Anti-Christ)
The Scripture is very clear on the order of end times events. Yahusha tells us what will happen and how to be on guard so we will recognize these things when they happen. Anyone that knows their Scriptures understands that these things will, and must happen before the second coming of our Master Yahusha!
Yahusha compares these excessive signs of the times to that of a woman going into labor, the earth must heave to and fro and this is the beginning of birthing pangs.
The apostle, Paul writes about the how and when all this will happen when he said . . .
“But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of Yahuah so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” ~1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
1. He claims to be Elohim and is worshipped ~2 Thessalonians 2:3 & 4
2. He blasphemes Elhim ~Revelation 13:6
3. He will display miraculous powers ~Matthew 24:24
4. He comes back to life ~Revelation 13:12 & 14
5. He will rule in full authority ~Revelation 13:5 & 7
6. He will control the world’s economy ~Revelation 13:16 & 17
7. He desecrates Yahuah’s temple ~Matthew 24:15-21
8. His attempted destruction of Yisrael ~Daniel 11:40-41 & 9:27
9. He causes earth’s armies to fight against Messiah ~Revelation 19:19
10. His final destiny is in the lake of fire ~Revelation 19:20
Who is the false prophet?
I’m sure by now you figured out that the false prophet is also Anti Messiah (antichrist), in that they are both of the same spirit—the spirit of error. The spirit of prophecy is the spirit of truth. If we choose to believe error and to share it as truth, we are false prophets.
The beast and the false prophet are not literal but rather symbolic creatures. They both represent the same world power merging of church and state, better known as the Roman Catholic Church. They both claim to be representative of Yahusha HaMashiach but are not. The pope is the man that sits on the throne of Elohim, thinking that he is Elohim. And never forget this, be not deceived because Satan is the invisible force behind this world power. Hold tightly to the word of Yahuah and nothing else.
“For there shall arise false Messiahs (Christs), and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” ~Matthew 24:24
Simply put . . . at the end of the age, the beginning of sorrows or birth pangs will take place. We need to know what the Scriptures says in order to understand that everything is happening right on time. Yahuah has predicted everything through His servants the prophets, and will see us through it to the end if we just hold tightly to Him!
“That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of Yahuah and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming?”~2 Peter 3:2-4
“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.“ ~Luke 21:28
Are we in the last days…?
You tell me. The following verses paint a pretty clear picture regarding every aspect of life as far as I’m concerned.
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Yahuah, having a form of righteousness (godliness) but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” ~2 Timothy 3:1-5
“… In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own unrighteous (ungodly) passions.” ~Jude 1:18
”But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” ~Matthew24:37
”For this reason Yahuah gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain Elohim in their knowledge, Yahuah gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of Elohim, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful.” ~Romans 1:26-31
”For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” ~Matthew 24:7&21
Wouldn’t you say this sounds exactly how things are in this very day and age? There’s such an enormous surge in wickedness of every kind. Crime is running rampant, murder and rape are at an all time high. Sexual immorality, pornography, multiple sex partners, indulgence in unnatural lust/homosexuality/incest/ transgenderism, and abortion, as well as overindulgence in every possible thing. Pride and greed have become the all-consuming ruler of this present world.
Oh yes, I’d have to say we are most definitely heading into the last days. Yahuah tells us that once this order of events starts, it will not end until everything that Yahuah has predicted happens. And this is all the more reason to believe that soon Yahusha will come again to execute judgment upon the evildoers and restore order, peace, love, and justice upon this earth.
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.“ ~Luke 21:25-28
“Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.” ~Matthew 24:34
Clearly, the majority of the world is choosing to reject Yahuah and His grace filled offer of redemption. However, there is still time for you to choose to give your heart to Yahusha. You will then receive the seal of Yahuah (Revelation 7:2-3) and be protected when the four winds are totally released and Satan has full control of this world. Oh yes, Yahuah’s people shall be delivered, that is a promise!
“… And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation. Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.” ~Daniel 12:1
