2019: Halloween spending to reach $8.8 billion

According to NRF’s annual survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics:

 

  • Shoppers say they will spend an average $86.27 this Halloween
  • 35 percent cite online search as the top source of inspiration
  • 29 million people plan to dress their pets in costume
